Capcom ready for new approach with Street Fighter 5's story
With the success of Mortal Kombat X and the praise it received for its epic and cinematic story mode it seems no wonder that Capcom have been taking note. During a recent interview with HipHopGamer the games producer, Matt Dahlgren was probed about how the game would handle it's story."I can't reveal specifics on our story, but I can say we are going to be doing things differently this time around". The interview also seemed to show that Capcom are fully aware of the high standards set by their fighting game rivals "We're definitely paying attention to what our competitors are doing and want to raise the bar". He also went on to add "Our story content is going to be unique and different from any previous Street Fighter game".

Considering the already stellar cast of characters Street Fighter 5 possesses, and even more yet to be announced, it’s certainly going to be exciting seeing what Capcom does with a fully fledged Street Fighter story.
