The recent price glitch controversy on Target’s mobile app has reached new levels with customers actively seeking rectification with Target to honor the significantly, yet unintentionally, discounted PlayStation 4 Uncharted Collection bundle.
The mobile app by Target’s own admission has a known technical glitch that will cause some products to be displayed with the wrong price. This particular bundle has been reportedly displayed at a couple different prices, including the incredibly low price of $29.99, a price that customer John Barry described to Chicago’s ABC news as, “A great, great deal.”
Barry has sought to honor the deal with Target, but has been refused outright, even when in person. Target is under no legal obligation to honor the deal, as there aren’t any Illinois laws related to this particular pricing mistake.
Target has since had the pricing glitch fixed.
