The launch trailer for Nordic Games’ Darksiders II ‘Deathinitive’ Edition was released today, and you can watch it over on Gamespot. There’s only 3 days left before the remastered game launches on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The Deathinitive Edition will have 1080p graphics, and will come with all the DLC released for the initial game. The rendering on the game should improve the lighting and shadows, giving the players of the definitive edition better graphics in general.
Included DLC will be the Maker Armor Set, The Abyssal Forge, The Demon Lord Belial, Death Rides, Angel of Death, Deadly Despair, Shadow of Death, Mortis Pack, Rusanov’s Axe, Van Der Schmash Hammer, Fletcher’s Crow Hammer, Mace Maximus, Argul’s Tomb.
The gameplay has also been adjusted slightly, with the game’s loot distribution and balancing mechanics having been ‘reworked’. The original Darksiders II came out in 2012, so hopefully these improvements will only continue to add to the game.
There have been plans for a Darksiders 3 to be put into action, after Nordic Games took over from THQ, but nothing is set to be released yet.
Darksiders II will be $30, and will launch on Xbox One and PS4 on October 27th.
