Bethesda is still hard at work on making sure Fallout 4 is in tip-top shape for its fast-approaching release, bless them. So you can’t blame them for having not had much time to think about what they’re going to do with the lore of Fallout post-launch.
Bethesda doesn’t yet know what the DLC for Fallout 4 will actually entail, just that there will be some and that in total it will be worth $40, apparently. Bethesda has made the following statement on the matter.
“Since we’re still hard at work on the game, we don’t know what the actual DLC will be yet, but it will start coming early next year. Based on what we did for Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Skyrim, we know that it will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you’ll get it all with the Season Pass.”
Not going to lie, that wouldn’t exactly fill me with confidence if I was considering investing in the season pass. Sure, their previous games have had strong post-launch support, but $40 for something that we haven’t even been shown? I’ll pass.
Nevertheless, if you’ve got money to burn then the Fallout 4 season pass is now up for pre-order for $30 on the Xbox marketplace, so go nuts. No word yet on when it will be available for PS4 or PC.
