Visitors to a new Halo 5: Guardians interactive mini site can earn some free content for the upcoming 343 Industries title.
Aiming to build even more hype for the next installment in Master Chief’s story, Microsoft has launched a new interactive website for Halo 5: Guardians.
The site features 10 videos, 5 each for the Chief and new-kid-on-the-block Spartan Locke. The videos delve deeper into setting up the next chapter in the story, painting Locke as a Spartan aiming to hunt down the traitorous Master Chief, whilst Chief believes himself to be a freedom fighter exempt from the UNSC.
Find the time to sit through all 10 of the videos available (shouldn’t take long, with each lasting less than 10 seconds long) and you’ll earn yourself an exclusive REQ Pack for the multiplayer ahead of the release in two weeks’ time. The contents may or may not vary as it is unclear: mine contained a vengeance assault rifle skin.
Whilst the game proper is wrapped and ready for release, 343 Industries is currently working on post-release content such as December’s Forge mode and the alleged free DLC map packs.
Halo 5: Guardians releases exclusively for Xbox One on October 27. Work has already begun on Halo 6 too.
