A brand new trailer for Halo 5: Guardians has leaked across the Xbox One dashboard and, as a result, the internet.
Slated for release this Sunday, the new trailer features an alternative version to last week’s “A Hero Falls” live action trailer, which featured the ‘death’ of the series’ main character, the Master Chief (John 117). The new trailer runs slightly longer, and shows off the Master Chief’s perspective on the events that led to his publicised ‘death’, as well as the events immediately following.
I highly recommend giving it a watch:
The trailer comes hot on the heels of the thus-far brilliant second season of Hunt The Truth, which is starting to delve into the seismic events caused by Halo 5‘s titular ‘Guardians’, an as-of-yet unknown entity that looks to play a large part in the upcoming game.
343 Industries and Microsoft are going all-out with Halo 5: Guardians‘ marketing campaign, with Hunt The Truth and all the trailers playing a large part in presenting the story as a mystery of Government conspiracy and cover-ups – all while building up hype at an incredible pace.
Halo 5: Guardians launches on October 27th for Xbox One
