As per tradition, GTA V will be having a weekend event to celebrate their most recent DLC, Lowriders. The event will start tomorrow (October 23rd) and will go through until the 25th.
The event won’t be as big as previous weekend events, but players will still enjoy plenty of events. Players that log on throughout the weekend will be rewarded with a new hat every day. The hat will automatically be put into the player’s wardrobe. The hats are exclusive and will only be available this weekend.
Payers will also be able to purchase a fourth property if they do so desire. GTA V is providing a 25% discount on properties with 10-car garages. Players will have to meet certain requirements to qualify for this. They will need a verified email registered with Rockstar Games Social Club, be a member of a crew on Social Club, and be signed up for Rockstar’s mailing list.
Players can also take part in the screenshot-taking contest and there is an event playlist so players can enjoy the new modes brought in the Lowriders update.
This update is only available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Xbox 360 and PS3 versions will not likely gain any new updates, but Rockstar is giving players for those platforms a bit of an event weekend. Payers on Xbox 360 and PS3 will gain more in-game cash and RP over the weekend.
