Manic Mansion playable in Day of the Tentacle Remastered
The original Day of the Tentacle created in 1993 by Tim Schafer at LucasArts had an option to play the full version of LucasArts classic Manic Mansion. It appears the remastered version will have it as well.Unlike anything seen at the time, the original games easter egg was a complete surprise to players. At one point in the game the player could stop and play the full original Manic Mansion on a Commodore 64 computer. VP of Development Matt Hansen points out that not only will the game be located in the same place, but it will be fully intact as well.

Purists will be pleased the game will be retained in its original glory.
Tim Schafer remains hopeful that other LucasArts games will be remastered just as Day of the Tentacle was, but no announcements have been made yet. Day of the Tentacle Remastered will be released to Linux, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Windows PC. No date has been set as of yet.
