If you enjoy playing Telltale Games’ enthralling narrative-driven games on the go with your iPhone or iPad you might have been given a shock recently. If you updated to the recent iOS 9 firmware, then chances are you have experienced a lot of problems with these games, from freezes and crashes to missing audio files.
In response to this, Apple has pulled just about every single game that Telltale has on the App Store from the storefront. The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Sam and Max, Jurassic Park, Tales of Monkey Island, and even Poker Night at the Inventory 2 have all been affected. This was done by Apple in order to fully investigate and fix the compatibility issues the latest firmware is having with these devices.
If you’ve already bought these games on the App Store this shouldn’t affect you. You can still download them from your purchase history, and if the game is already installed on your device you can still access it, just with a lot of technical problems. As for buying new episodes or other games, you’ll have to wait until this issue is officially resolved and the games return to the App Store. No official date has been given as to when this investigation will conclude, so for now try to be patient.
