The first video in a three-part series has been released by Microsoft focussing on Rise of the Tomb Raider’s protagonist, Lara Croft.
The series, titled “Woman Vs Wild” has today received it’s first episode, and is called “Harsh Environments”, which you can see below. The video details the new challenges Lara can face in the wild, and during the video she can be seen fighting blizzards, bears and leopards.
The deadly wildlife aren’t the only new addition from the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot, and as the video shows, Rise of the Tomb Raider will feature all-new hub spaces. These areas are “2-3 times larger” than in the previous game, and it is here that Lara can explore optional tomb, take on new missions, and craft better equipment using salvage.
As this week’s video has highlighted the environments, next week’s video will focus on the human threats that Lara will face throughout Rise of the Tomb Raider. The game will release on November 10th for Xbox One and Xbox 360.
