Nintendo's Smartphone Game delayed

Earlier this year,  Nintendo announced that it would begin publishing a series of mobile games for smart phones, tablets and any combination thereof.  Interestingly enough, Nintendo will be co-producing these games in partnership with company DeNA, a Japanese mobile portal, e-commerce and social gaming company that currently owns the Mobage cell phone gaming platform for Japan.  While fans of Nintendo, including die hard Zelda fans like myself, are super pumped to be able to play new (and hopefully old) titles from the comfort of their phone and/or tablet, they may have to wait a little bit longer.  Earlier today, at an investors presentation in Tokyo, CEO Tatsumi Kimishima announced the title of a game called Miitomo, a free-to-play game with, according to the Wall Street Journal, "attractive add-ons that people can pay for."   This game and others will not be launching until March 2016, a delay from the previously hinted at release date of "sometimes before the end of 2015."  Kimishima said that the reason for this was to allow time for further promotion of the Miitomo title. In related news, The Nintendo Membership service, set to be called Nintendo Account will be for all current and future gaming platforms.  The Nintendo Account will also have a rewards program entitled My Nintendo which will also encompass all devices including tablets and smartphones.
