The update is meant to, “Opens up a brand new way of allowing you to personalize your weapons with skins, mods and more.”
“Each safe drops a slick weapon skin, and each skin may have special mods and a stat boost associated with it. Sometimes, very rarely, a safe may even contain a precious Legendary skin.” It is touch to say if this will hurt the balance of multiplayer and turn this into a play-to-win game.
Payday 2 was originally released on August 13, 2013 for the PC. Payday 2: Crimewave Edition was released for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on June 16. No news on if and when the update will come to consoles. Stay tuned to Gamespresso for more information.
