Bethesda Games Studios announced on Twitter that the upcoming Fallout 4 will be playable on PlayStation Vita’s Remote Play thanks to “control-freak” Josh Hamrick. He previously worked on Destiny’s Remote Play feature, before leaving Bungie for Bethesda earlier this year. He has a strong reputation for creating simplified, unique and optimized controls for Destiny’s Vita version. Hamrick’s efforts in game design have been highly praised by the game’s audience and critics. Following Bethesda’s announcement, he said: “A minor contribution to an excellent game. I was happy to help with this & I’m honored to be part of this team. ”
Based on his previous work and experience in gameplay design, it is safe to assume that the Vita version of the game will be an enjoyable and comfortable experience. Furthermore, Bethesda claims that the game’s Remote Play feature will involve “great controls”, yet further information has not been disclosed. PS Vita owners will thus be able to dive back into the Wasteland in less than a month.
Fallout 4 is due to launch on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on November 10.
