Crystal Dynamics has announced that the upcoming Xbox timed-exclusive, Rise of the Tomb Raider, has gone gold. This means that development for the base game is complete and manufacturers are now producing the discs. The game is scheduled to hit store shelves on November 10th for the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
While the development for the base game of Rise of the Tomb Raider is complete, Crystal Dynamics are still hard at work on the game’s DLC. The DLC promises to add tons of hours to the game with new raids and more.
Square Enix’s western studio’s boss Darrell Gallagher believes fans will not be disappointed with the sequel. He stated, “The entire team challenged themselves to improve on the last game that millions of fans enjoyed so much, and we believe we have created a worthy sequel to Tomb Raider 2013.”
The PC and Playstation 4 version of Rise of the Tomb Raider will be released in 2016. For more information on the game, stay tuned to Gamespresso.
