Sony exec responds to questions of Uncharted continuing without Naughty Dog
Ever since Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was first announced, back before the PS4 even released, there has been talk of the title being the last in the series for developer Naughty Dog. As recently as just this past month, Game Director Niel Druckmann discussed the emotional effect the “definitive ending” of the series has had on the development team, calling it "an end of an era" for the studio.Speaking with Eurogamer, Sony Executive Jim Ryan was asked about the possibility of the Uncharted series continuing beyond Uncharted 4, even if Naughty Dog was not involved. “It's an IP that's very closely tied to that developer,” he explained. “That's all I'll say. It's something that's very special to us, and I think much of that specialness relates to the association between the franchise and the developer. It'd be a difficult step to break that association.”

Unfortunately nothing close to a definitive answer, it will have to do for now as Uncharted 4 is scheduled to release March 18th, 2016 on PS4. This week at Paris Games Week, Sony showed off a trailer for the Uncharted 4 multiplayer.
