Steam recently reached a new record of concurrent users. On October 18, 10,761,566 people were using one of the world’s most famous gaming platform at the same time. This number surpasses Steam’s previous milestones from earlier this year. On May 10, the platform’s statistics page recorded 9.5 million concurrent users. Within a few weeks, this number considerably increased, leading to 10 million concurrent users on June 14.
Twelve years after its launch on September 12, 2013, more than 125 million people registered on Steam. The platform offers over 6400 games (this number does not include games that have been delisted) and new releases are added to that number every day. According to recent statistics, Dota 2, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, Ark: Survival Evolved and Grand Theft Auto V are the most played games on Steam.
