The release date for Street Fighter V has been officially announced.
Street Fighter V will release on February 16, 2016 in North America and Europe. The game’s release date was confirmed at Sony’s Paris Games Week media briefing by Capcom today.
It was also announced that series veteran Dhalsim will be part of the game’s roster when the game releases next year. The game will also receive six DLC characters in the year after Street Fighter V’s release.
Street Fighter V had already been expected to release in Spring 2016. Earlier this year, Capcom said that the game would release before the end of its fiscal year, which ended on March 31, 2016. The game recently came out of its second beta test. The first beta saw severe issues, with the second round having issues of its own as well. It was unsure whether or not those issues would affect the game’s release, though it now seems that they will not.
Street Fighter V will release on February 16, 2016. The game will release for the PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will support cross-platform play between the PlayStation 4 and PC. The game is available for pre-load for those who have preordered the game on PC.
