The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes will be getting a demo, but with restrictions.
Today’s weekly update for the Nintendo eShop includes a demo for The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, but there are strict limitations set in place. The demo does not allow gamers to play the single-player version of the game. Rather, you can play one of the game’s dungeons with other demo players locally, or go online to play three dungeons.
The online play, however, will be restricted to certain times over the following weekend. There is a two-hour window each of the three days where players will be able to access online play. You can see the schedule below. It is unknown if more times for online play will become available at a later date. Also, you can only play with others playing the demo online.
- October 30: 3-5 p.m. PT
- October 31: 3-5 p.m. PT
- November 1: 3-5 p.m. PT
The Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroes released last week. The game is available on the 3DS. Tri Force Heroes is a cooperative action-adventure game set after A Link Between Worlds. Players are able to change into various outfits that give different powers, three of which are available in the demo: the Hero’s Tunic, Kokiri Clothes, and Legendary Dress.
