The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is regarded as a successful game, selling many copies and receiving reviews praising it on most websites. With the first expansion releasing today, CD Projekt RED’s press release for Hearts of Stone mentioned in passing a possible delay for Blood and Wine.
The press release said that the window has moved from Q1 2016 (January – March) to the first half of 2016. (January – June) Although the release window has changed, it is still possible for The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine to come out in the first quarter of 2016.
Hearts of Stone is on Steam for $9.99 USD, offering 10 hours of gameplay; the expansion is currently sitting at 88 on Metacritic. Blood and Wine is expected to have much more content, offering 20 hours of gameplay according to CD Projekt RED.
