Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 has been delayed on last-gen consoles according to a statement from Activision to Eurogamer.
“We are working closely with our developers to address the issues identified by our community,” publisher Activision said in a statement. “Our development resources are fully focused on fixes and content updates for PS4 and Xbox One, so we have decided to delay the release of THPS5 on PS3 and X360.”
The issues with the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the recently releasing skating game have been well documented. Right now, the title has a score of 33 (PS4) and 40 (Xbox One) on Metacritic, mainly due to the slew of bugs plaguing the game. The delay allows the development team at Robomodo to fix these issues.
No release date has been set for the last-gen consoles, but Activision assured fans of the series “We will update the community when we have more specific information about a release date for PS3 and Xbox 360.”
