Ubisoft unveiled “Ubisoft Club” this morning as a way to give players additional content to the games they own from the publisher.
The new program, while it doesn’t begin until a later date, was advertised to “unlock exclusive benefits such as extra game content, limited edition goodies, or discounts in the shop,” stating that you can “get rewarded just by playing your Ubisoft games through XP, badges and ‘units.'” Participation in betas was also listed as one of the rewards of being involved in the program.
It’s not clear at the time whether this will work alongside or eventually replace Ubisoft’s Uplay service. At the moment, you can sign up for Ubisoft Club using your current Uplay account. The new service is completely free and is accessible on any platform on any game that is released by Ubisoft.
Popular titles from the company include Assassin’s Creed, Far Cry, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six SIEGE, Watchdogs, Just Dance, The Crew and more.
