Microsoft recently released a video that gives gamers an in-depth look into their upcoming Xbox Elite controller.
The controller allows users to customize almost everything about it. Users can add four new paddles to the bottom of the controller, the thumbsticks are interchangeable, and the D-pad can be replaced with a more intuitive version.
The new video from Microsoft shows off the app that helps configure the Xbox Elite controller. The app allows users to set up customization profiles for the controller, so users will have the controller configured for any game. “You can have a customization for the way you play Halo and also one for the way you play Forza”.
Players can save up to 250 different configurations and can have two saved onto the controller at one time. The thumbstick sensitivity can be customized along with trigger sensitivity.
The Xbox One Elite controller package comes with the Xbox One Elite wireless controller, a carrying case, a set of four paddles, a set of six thumbsticks, two D-pads, a USB cable, AA batteries, and a quick setup guide and product manual.
The Xbox One Elite controller will be released on October 27th, and will work on both Xbox One and PC. The controller will cost $150.
