Lab Zero, the developers of Skull Girls, are now allowing PS4 users a chance to sample their new game. The game entitled Indivisible is a unique take on the turn based RPG formula and is currently in the process of raising funds via crowd funding.
The prototype has now been made available for PS4 players via both the North American and European stores. This demo aims to give players a chance to get a good early impression of how the game will play.
Lab Zero are insistent that is not yet the finished the article but is a pretty good indication of what players can expect. “This is a small taste of what we have in store for you in the final version, but representative of the direction we want to take the game.”
As previously mentioned Indivisible is a new spin on the classic 2D RPG style, taking inspiration from games such as Super Metroid. The game is set to feature vast amounts of beautiful locations within Indivisible’s huge fantasy world including its own mythology and unique creatures.
In Indivisible players will get the chance to “navigate beautiful environments using a variety of different traversal abilities, and engage monsters in fast-paced combat.”
Along with its own cast of characters the game will also include some noteworthy guests such as Annie from Skullgirls, Drifter from Hyper Light Drifter, Shovel Knight and Guacamelee’s very own Juan. Lab Zero have said that all of these characters will feature their own unique abilities and will be visually altered to fit in with the games gorgeous 2D art style.
The game currently has a fixed goal of $1.5 million and Lab Zero have been extremely honest about how they intend to spend said amount. If Indivisible manages to meet this goal then publisher 505 Games will add an additional $2 million. Those wanting to contribute to the games funding can do so via the Indivisible Indiegogo page.
