3D Realms' Bombshell delayed until January 2016
The upcoming isometric action shooter, Bombshell, being developed by Duke Nukem 3D alums 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment, behind the Rise of the Triad reboot, have announced they have pushed back the release date to January 29th on PC.Bombshell follows Shelly "Bombshell" Harrison, a Colonel in the Global Defense Force as her career is abruptly brought to an end after an event titled "the Washington Incident", which caused her to lose her arm and her team. Shelly is then offered a new contract by a private military contractor and offered a second chance and a new mechanical arm.

The game is scheduled to launch with a price tag of $34.99 for the base version or $39.99 for the deluxe. which will include a digital soundtrack, art book, map and early beta access to the Bombshell FPS prequel coming later next year that will dive into Shelly’s backstory on the events surrounding “the Washington Incident”.
The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 releases of the game are being developed by Abstraction Games and will still be released sometime later in 2016.
