Avenged Sevenfold seem to have a history with Call of Duty: Black Ops. The American heavy metal band released a new single for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 back in 2012, entitled ‘Carry On’ which was depicted in a concert within the game, which was pretty awesome. Hopefully this will happen in Black Ops 3 with the new Avenged Sevenfold song, because that was cool. The band also had their song ‘Nightmare’ featured in Black Ops 2 once the ‘One Giant Leap’ trophy was unlocked.

Avenged Sevenfold’s instrumental song, written for the new Call of Duty game, is called ‘Jade Helm’, which is the name for a series of military exercises, meaning that this term is likely to be featured within the game.

The band seem to love getting involved in the video game industry, they even have their own mobile game (god forbid), entitled Hail to the King: Deathbat of which is a 3rd person, overhead dungeon crawler action RPG. A metal band that has their own app. Pretty cool.

I personally think that Avenged Sevenfold should be playable characters in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, maybe that would be a step too far, I guess.

Black Ops 3 will be released on November 6th 2015. Heavy metal and guns, what more could you ask for?
