Blizzard confirms Overwatch will be on PS4/Xbox One
Overwatch, Blizzard's first new franchise in 17 years, has been confirmed to have Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions. On the Battle.net homepage, Blizzard officially confirmed the new editions of the game.Recently, Game Informer had reported that retailers had received word of Overwatch coming to Playstation 4 and Xbox One. Prior to this "leak", the game had been announced as PC only.

It has been speculated that these new editions of Overwatch were going to be a Blizzcon announcement, as a Blizzard representative said, “We are excited to share more information about Overwatch with everyone at BlizzCon this weekend–so be sure to tune in to the opening ceremonies.”
Overwatch was announced a year ago at Blizzcon 2014. Blizzard’s 2-day annual event starts November 6 and ends November 7.
