Originally released in 2000 and 2001 respectively, Westwood Studios classics Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 and its follow-up, Yuri’s Revenge, are available for free as part of Origin’s “On The House” program.
Touting itself as a way to “provide a great gaming experience and a way to discover awesome new games”, the program is also a way to drive traffic in to Origin. Despite its intention, the program has given many games since its initial launch a year ago starting with the horror classic, Dead Space. The games, however, are only available for free for a certain amount of time so you must act fast to get your copy.
The Command & Conquer games themselves received high marks from critics and fans alike and are definitely worthy of a download. Head over to Origin’s “On The House” and download them now before they’re gone.
