Fallout 4 apparently getting "very special" segment on Conan O'Brien's show tomorrow
Tomorrow Conan O'Brien promises to feature Bethesda's upcoming game Fallout 4 on a segment of his show called "Clueless Gamer", this of course begs a very important question... who is this for?I mean, the two circles that represent Conan's viewer-base and gamers that would buy Fallout 4 because they saw it on Conan just don't interlap in my mind. I know it's probably not meant to necessarily raise awareness for the game but still, its like if you put ads for diapers in Tiger Beat, it's catering to the wrong audience (or at least I hope so). But I digress...

I mean, the two circles that represent Conan’s viewer-base and gamers that would buy Fallout 4 because they saw it on Conan just don’t interlap in my mind. I know it’s probably not meant to necessarily raise awareness for the game but still, its like if you put ads for diapers in Tiger Beat, it’s catering to the wrong audience (or at least I hope so). But I digress…
In a promotional video posted on Facebook, O’Brien and co-host Aaron Bleyaert are shown dressed up in some super snazzy vault dweller jump suits. O’Brien said the episode will be “very special.”, what that means… I guess we’ll find out.
Other games that have been featured on Conan’s weird lite let’s play style show include Super Smash Bros. Wii U, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and Halo 5: Guardians, as well as even The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, another of Bethesda’s recent titles.
It’s also should be noted that some developers/publishers even pay to have their games shown on Clueless Gamer. The developer behind horror game Outlast, for example, paid $35,000 to have their title featured on the program. It is however unclear if any payment was involved in Fallout 4’s upcoming appearance.
