Once again partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, video game retailer GameStop will be starting their annual “Thanks and Giving” campaign to help raise money and awareness to fight childhood cancer.
Started November 1st, this marks the third year that the two are working together for the cause. Over those years, they have raised $1.5 million dollars, but GameStop is hoping to raise $1 million this year alone.
Throughout the duration of the event, customers can donate in-store at GameStop locations around the country or online through their website. You will also be able to donate at the company’s non-gaming stores such as Simply Mac, Spring Mobile AT&T and the new ThinkGeek store in Orlando.
To help drive donations, GameStop will give everyone who donates $1 or more triple PowerUp Rewards points as well as an extra 10% trade-in credit for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 games. They’ll also receive a 25% discount on Skin-It sleeve designs.
