Blizzard had a successful Blizzcon this year, launching details about Legion, Overwatch, StarCraft II, Diablo III, Heroes of the Storm, and Hearthstone. Each game had devoted panels to reveal the new details and offered a Q&A at the end. They even ran Hearthstone, World of Warcraft arena, StarCraft II, and Heroes of the Storm tournaments.
For Hearthstone, they showed off each card launching with The League of Explorers. Like previous expansions, you can buy the League of Explorers with real money, or with game gold. You can also purchased one wing at a time, or all of them at once if you’re paying with cash. The wings will open up slowly over time, allowing people to adjust to the new cards they receive from it.
The League of Explorers has Elise Starseeker, Reno Jackson, Sir Finley Mrrgglton, and Brann Bronzebeard helping you out this time. Elise Starseeker is a legendary card that, once played, shuffles the Map to the Golden Monkey into your deck. Get the Map of the Golden Monkey, and it shuffles the Golden Monkey into your deck.
Get the Golden Monkey? and all of your cards, in hand and in your deck, are turned into Legendary creatures. The League of Explorers first wing launches November 13th for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac. They will cost $7 or 700 gold individually, or $20 for all the wings in a package.
