Hi-Rez's Paladins hits closed beta today
While still making sure to keep up quality updates and support for their massively popular title, Smite, Hi-Rez has now entered closed beta stage for Paladins. Paladins is a team-based, first person shooter that utilizes a 'collectible-card-based' system that provides various degrees of buffs to a character's abilities. Paladins was announced by the team back in August and have been showing off their games at various convention venues. The goal of Paladins is to use 7 of the currently available character to fight the opposing teams and capture the point. You'll be killing enemies and securing positions. At some point, a siege engine will appear and will be an integral part of taking down gates that block the opposing team's point. You'll need to guard and protect it before the enemy destroys it.
