Ubisoft and Nvidia recently released a trailer for Rainbow Six Siege that shows off some of the unique features that are only available on PC. Using a GeForce GTX graphics card players will be able to experience deeper and richer shadows, reduced flickering, smoother images, and overall enhanced graphics.
In a blog post Nvidia explained that for players to see the graphics in the trailer they will need a GeForce GTX 960 card for 1920×1080 resolution, and GeForce GTX 970 for 2560×1440 resolution.
Rainbow Six Siege was set to launch back in October, but the game was delayed until December for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The open beta for the game started on November 25, on all three platforms.
Ubisoft believes that Rainbow Six Siege is capable of becoming the company’s highest selling first person shooter. Yves Guillemot, a Chief Executive at Ubisoft, said that the game’s ability to be replayed “will be key to its success”.
