Currently, Remote Play allows PlayStation 4 gameplay to be streamed onto a PlayStation Vita through a home network.
Shuhei Yoshida, the Sony Worldwide Studios boss, made the plans official to expand Remote Play to PC and Mac through a Tweet to fans, which said, “We are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac.”
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. 😀

Back in 2013 when the PlayStation 4 launched, Remote Play was also launched. Remote Play was originally pitched as another way to play PlayStation 4 games on a second screen. Data from the game is streamed through a home Wi-Fi network from the PlayStation Vita to the PlayStation 4. Sony’s Xperia Z5 phone is also usable with the service.
No further details have been released about Remote Play coming to PC and Mac.
