Earlier today, Sony Computer Entertainment released an update for PlayStation 4 systems.
Version 3.11 came in at 250 MB and was automatically pushed to consoles.
There was only one patch note in the official update (via EGMNOW) and it said, “System software stability during use of some features has been improved.”
PS4 update 3.11 follows Version 3.10, which was released earlier in October. Version 3.10 adds a slew of new stickers and the ability to follow verified game developers and companies.
Sony is the console leader going into the holiday season with over 29 million units shipped, but Microsoft believes they’ll be competitive this holiday season by “over-delivering on value.” The Xbox One will be undergoing its own update this week that will see the launch of the highly-anticipated Backwards Compatibility service. Backwards Compatibility will give gamers the chance to play over one hundred Xbox 360 games on their Xbox One.
