Pokemon Picross was recently announced as part of Nintendo’s latest direct broadcast. The game will be a free-to-start puzzle style game for the 3DS.
In this game for players to catch a Pokemon they must first complete a number of puzzles. Once the puzzle is complete an image of said Pokemon shall be revealed, thus being caught. Players will then have the ability to use these captured Pokemon to help with future puzzles.
The game will feature an in-game currency known as Picrittes which can be used to give the player hints on tricky puzzles. Picrittes can be purchased through gameplay or with money.
Pokemon Picross will be released exclusively for the 3DS sometime this December.
