Unicorns of Love announce roster for IEM San Jose

With IEM San Jose this weekend, the Unicorns of Love have announced the roster they will be bring to the tournament.After failing to qualify for the 2015 League of Legends World Championship, the Unicorns of Love underwent major reconstruction. mid laner Tristan "PowerOfEvil" Schrage left the team to join Origen. Jungler Cho "H0R0" Jae-hwan and AD Carry Pontus "Vardags" Dahlblom left the team as well. Top laner Kiss "Vizicsacsi" Tamás and support Zdravets "Hylissang" Galabov will remain in their positions.

After failing to qualify for the 2015 League of Legends World Championship, the Unicorns of Love underwent major reconstruction. mid laner Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage left the team to join Origen. Jungler Cho “H0R0” Jae-hwan and AD Carry Pontus “Vardags” Dahlblom left the team as well. Top laner Kiss “Vizicsacsi” Tamás and support Zdravets “Hylissang” Galabov will remain in their positions.

In the jungle will be Berk “Gilius” Demir, who played for Unicorns of Love when they first qualified for LCS back in 2014. Demir went on to replace Dennis “Svenskeren” Johnsen as jungle for SK Gaming during the 2014 League of Legends World Championship after he was suspended for making racist comments. Upon Demir’s return to the Unicorns of Love, it was announced he would be replaced in favour of Mateusz “Kikis” Szkudlarek. Demir also played for the Unicorns of Love during this year’s Summer Split but was promptly benched in favour of Jae-hwan.

The AD Carry position will be held by former Fnatic player Pierre “steeelback” Medjaldi. After failing to qualify for NA LCS with challenger team Imagine, Steelback has once again returned to Europe.

The mid lane will be held by former SK Gaming mid laner Myhre “Fox” Hampus who left SK Gaming after the team lost to Gamers2 in the relegation tournament.

The Unicorns of Love will represent Europe along side Origen November 21 and 22 at IEM San Jose.
