Ubisoft’s latest title in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, Syndicate, is on sale for $30 today through Amazon.
Featured in Amazon’s deal of the day, the offer will expire at 11:59PM PST, or 2:59AM EST. The offer is valid for Xbox one, PlayStation 4, and PC. The Gold edition is also available, which includes a season pass for DLC, at $60. You can find the offer page here.
If you are interested in the PC specifications, you can find them here. They were announced back in November.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate had a rough launch week, with Ubisoft claiming Unity launch may have had something to do with it. There is a possibility that Jack The Ripper DLC is on the way, and issues with the PC version have been patched since launch.
Hirun Cryer of Gamespresso gave Assassins Creed Syndicate a 6 out of 10, having this to say about the game. “I really feel like there’s a good game just dying to get out here, but Ubisoft constantly stifle this by sticking to what they know and playing it safe. While Jacob is a fairly standard character, Evie is far more entertaining and fleshed out, and this combined with a fairly standard combat and stealth system give the game a good core on which to build. Unfortunately, it never builds on such promise, with a cartoonish villain and an absent plot, as well as mission objectives that can make the stealth system almost redundant.”
