Nintendo of Europe recently announced the European release date for Square Enix’s Bravely Second: End Layer. According to the official twitter account of NoE, Bravely Second, the sequel to the critically acclaimed JRPG Bravely Default, will release in Europe on February 26, 2016.
Highlighted in a post illustrating the title’s Deluxe Collector’s Edition, Bravely Second, if purchased in this edition, will include a soundtrack CD, game card, deluxe art book, and a miniature figurine of the returning character Anges.
Bravely Second, which launched in Japan on April 23 earlier this year, performed well commercially and critically. According to a Siliconera article, the game was the best selling video game in Japan during its debut week, with 100,047 copies sold and 53.6% of the initial shipment sold out. Moreover, Japanese video game magazine Famitsu gave the game a score 36 of 40, consisting of the sub-scores 9, 9, 9, and 9.
While announcements have been made regarding specific European and Australian (February 27, 2016) release dates of the title, no date has been finalized for the release of an American version of the game.
