Ubisoft has revealed that Far Cry Primal’s world and story will be as immense and in-depth as Far Cry 4. In an interview with GameSpot earlier this week, Ubisoft creative director Maxime Béland discussed some of the design choices for Primal’s world.
Béland said that the sequel (or prequel, I guess?) will boast a world as expansive as Far Cry 4. In, addition, the game will be complete with a full story, side missions and bases to give a worthwhile playtime.
Though this is exciting news, Ubisoft have yet to explain just how we’re meant to travel across this enormous map using stone-age technology. It’s hard to picture our Neanderthal jumping onto a gyrocopter or zipline, but with any luck we can always take a spin in the Flintstones’ car.
Far Cry Primal is due to be released on February 23rd of next year for PS4 and Xbox One, and March 1st for PC.
