Minecraft has single handedly controlled the sandbox genre of gaming since 2011. With it’s unique yet simple artwork and easy to learn gameplay, players of all types have grown attached to the title. This holiday season, a new group of gamers will finally get their chance to have some fun.
Today on their official website, Mojang has announced that Minecraft will be coming to Wii U on December 17th. That’s only ten short days away! The game will be available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop the date on the release date for $29.99 and comes bundled with six DLC packs, though it was not specified which ones. Future DLC packs will also become available as the lifespan of the Wii U Minecraft moves forward.
Mojang also wanted to remind players that all DLC is optional and you can have plenty of fun on the game without it, if you so choose. Minecraft is available now for PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, and more.
