Among the many indie titles revealed at PlayStation Experience, Runic Games’ Hob received a new trailer. Hob is an action game with an isometric view in a world that’s constantly changing. The developers claim that as you discover and change the world, you also discover more about who you are.
The trailer showed off a mix of action and combat with a splash of exploration of the lush, stylistic world. The world seems peaceful, but danger “lurks in hidden places” with a “rogue life infecting” the world around you. Wonder Russell, Runic’s Minister of Culture, explains, “World-shifting is a core feature of Hob. As you realign the world into its intended use, entire new play areas, previously unreachable, are fixed and unlocked.
The game is set to be a PlayStation console exclusive. Coming from Torchlight veterans, Runic Games, Hob will release on PlayStation 4 and PC in 2016. Check out the trailer below:
