Remember Dante’s Inferno, Visceral Games’ God of War clone back in 2010? As it turns out, a main member of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens cast worked on that game. At least, he worked on it before he was fired.
Oscar Isaac plays resistance pilot Poe Dameron, a heroic character behind the controls of an X-Wing. However, back in 2010 he was just a regular guy trying to do some voice work. When asked why he had been let go from the project, Isaac said in an interview that “they just thought I was bad.” Despite this, Isaac hardly seemed upset by the decision. “It was such a shitty game, though.”
While reviews for Dante’s Inferno hardly called the game “shitty,” it certainly will not be remembered as fondly as something like Isaac’s newest gig, The Force Awakens.
