Minecraft: Console Edition receives its biggest update yet
Today the console version of Minecraft received an update, and it is the biggest one to date. The update will add a few new things, including new potions, blocks, mobs, and biomes.New biomes for the Minecraft update include the Redwood forests of Mega-Taiga and the Deep Ocean, and new blocks include Granite, Red Sandstone, Sea Lanterns, Slime, and Packed Ice. There will also be beautiful gardens of Blue Orchids, Sunflowers, Azure Bluets, Tulips, Lilacs, and other florid content. You will have to be careful, however, as there will also be hungry rabbits who will eat your crops.

For those who love to go on adventures, the new Minecraft update will include subaquatic Ocean Monuments where Elder Guardians await to test your courage, as well as rare materials and treasure chambers for those who would dare enter. The new Minecraft update is available today on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One, but will not release on the Wii U version, which just launched yesterday.
