During a livestream yesterday, developer Naughty Dog revealed the file size of the imminent Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta event, which is due to start on December 4.
During the event, a small development team working on the multiplayer portion of Uncharted 4 revealed details about both the game mode itself and the beta event, revealing the download size of the beta file to be around 7GB in size.
However the team from Naughty Dog also revealed that the file size could be bigger for certain players, depending on which region of the world they live in (North America, Europe, Australia etc.). In addition to this, the team showed off the new “mysticals” that players could use in the multiplayer mode to turn the tide of battle in their favour.
Also displayed in the livestream was the player ability to call in NPC sidekicks to fight alongside them. This will be occasionally be available for the player to use, and like the “mysticals” they can definitely help you in the fight against other players.
The multiplayer beta for Uncharted 4 will begin on December 4 for those who purchased the Nathan Drake Collection, and will be playable this weekend at the Sony PlayStation Experience event in San Francisco.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is currently slated to launch in March of 2016, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
