WB Games Montreal, the developer of Batman: Arkham Origins, wants to expand the DC comic universe.
WB Games revealed that it is currently working on two new “AAA projects.” IGN first spotted this news on the developer’s website. IGN states, “We reported in June on rumors of a new open-world game for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Still, no word yet on what the games might actually be.”
They have a recruitment message posted on their website. Their message states, “We are currently recruiting! We are a growing studio with two AAA projects in development focused on expanding the DC Comics universe in the interactive space.” Click her to visit their recruitment page.
GameSpot states, “WB Games Montreal has 11 open positions posted to its careers portal. Some of these job ads, like this one for a gameplay programmer, mention new-generation consoles and unspecified “innovative” gameplay features and systems.”
Although Batman: Arkham Origins wasn’t my favorite Batman game, but I don’t think it was bad. I’m curious to see what superhero games they’ll be revealing in the future.
