The Witcher 2 to be backwards compatible on Xbox One
The booming popularity of The Witcher 3 has caused fans of the recent Game of the Year title to want to do some digging into its prequels. Fans of The Witcher 3 have asked CD Projekt Red whether we'll see an remastered edition of The Witcher 1 or 2. While CD Projekt Red stated that remasters usually don't happen, they did offer us a second option. In a recent Twitter post, a user asked Marcin Momot of CD Projekt Red that The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will be available for backwards compatibility on the Xbox One. No word on a date yet, but I'm sure we'll hear something about that soon enough.
