Xbox Head teases a big year for new IP in 2016
Even after the monster of a line-up Xbox One saw this past year with everything from Halo 5 to Rare Replay, Phil Spencer, the head of Xbox, is still looking at the things to come. Answering questions on Twitter he stated, “Lot's of marketing lines for the different years but for new IP 2016 is going to be a fun year for us.”Likewise, when asked if there was anything else in 2016 gamers still didn’t know about, Spencer simply answered, “Yes.”

The new IPs we know about already include Quantum Break, shown off at last week’s The Game Awards, Rare’s Sea of Thieves, announced back in June at E3, and ReCore, a game from the creators of Metroid Prime and Mega Man. There are even the potential indie gems like the gorgeous bullet-storm sidescroller Cup Head and the bleak yet intriguing Ashen.
What do you think of Xbox One’s line up for 2016? Any guesses what the surprise announcements might be? Let us know in the comments.
