With Tom Clancy’s The Division only a month and a half away, the game’s publisher Ubisoft is in full publicity mode by creating live-action prequels for the upcoming RPG Third-Person open world shooter.
Ubisoft partnered with popular YouTube creators CorridorDigital, devinsupertramp, and RocketJump to create a live-action video series that showcased four different Division agents during the early stages of the outbreak in post-pandemic New York City.
The videos are titled Ashes, Pursuit, Conspiracies, and Escape. They all have a lot of big action in them and all feature really good production values. All four videos can be seen below.
The Division’s beta is just around the corner, Xbox One users get to play the beta first on January 28th and PS4 and PC users get to play the beta starting January 29th. The beta ends on January 31st. It’s a closed beta and only players who pre-order the game are guaranteed access to it, but players can sign up on the game’s page to be put on a wait list. Free DLC is already available for the upcoming game, and an Xbox One bundle has been announced, but the game won’t feature Brooklyn or player-trading at launch.
Tom Clancy’s The Division launches March 8, 2016 on Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
