EA is changing up tradition. This year, the company won’t be represented on the floor with an official booth at E3 2016.

Instead, EA is doing things differently from the way they usually do their conference, with EA Play. The briefing will take place at Club Nokia at LA Live, right next door to the convention center. The conference will start at 1PM PST, on June 12 2016.

Bethesda held their first conference the Sunday before E3 last year, but even if they decide to take the same time, the schedules between EA and Bethesda won’t be conflicting.

According to GameSpot, EA will still be holding private meetings. EA has rented out Club Nokia for the duration of June 12-14, where people can stop by to try out their games. This offers a vibe similar to a live event, and will give EA a private area to show off all of their games – rather on at the floor of E3 2016.
