Mario Kart 64 is one of the most popular Mario Kart’s to date, with almost any review regarding the franchise hailing back to the classic.
For Europeans, you’ll no longer have to dig out your N64 and cartridges to get your fix. Instead, you can buy a Wii U. That’s right, the virtual console is slowly adding N64 titles to its arsenal, and this week it’s Mario Kart 64.
The title will be added to the Virtual Console on January 21st, this Thursday. According to Eurogamer, it will cost £8.99.
Mario Kart 64 is highly regarded for the courses it introduced to the franchise, including Moo Moo Farm and Yoshi Valley. Although the game at the time received mixed reviews(getting a 6.4/10 from Gamespot), most N64 titles are looked back on with rose coloured glasses.
